Family Health Team Knowledge Exchange

The Family Health Team-Knowledge Exchange (FHT-KE) is a community of practice for providers working in provincially-funded FHTs across Ontario. The FHT-KE fosters a collaborative approach to address the multidisciplinary learning needs of FHTs to build on and support the uptake of best practices in eating disorders care, aligned with their role and scope of practice. The group meets monthly via MS Teams.

Program Evaluation Special Interest Group

The Program Evaluation Special Interest Group (PE-SIG) is a community of practice for those carrying out or interested in program evaluation in provincially-funded, specialized eating disorders programs across Ontario. The PE-SIG fosters a collaborative approach to address the implementation of program evaluation and support the uptake of best practices within eating disorders programs. The SIG welcomes those working in all levels of specialized care and with any age group. The group meets four to five times a year via MS Teams.

Nurse Practitioner Special Interest Group

The Nurse Practitioner Special Interest Group (NP-SIG) is a community of practice for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in provincially-funded, specialized eating disorders programs across Ontario. The NP-SIG fosters a collaborative approach to address the learning needs of NPs and support the uptake of best practices as it applies to the NP role and scope of practice. The SIG welcomes NPs working in all levels of specialized care and with any age group. The group meets monthly via MS Teams.

Psychotherapy & Counselling Special Interest Group

The Psychotherapy & Counselling Special Interest Group (PC-SIG) is a community of practice for mental health clinicians who primarily provide psychotherapy or counselling in provincially-funded, specialized eating disorders programs across Ontario. The PC-SIG fosters a collaborative approach to address the learning needs of mental health clinicians and support the uptake of best practices. The SIG welcomes mental health clinicians working in all levels of specialized care and with any age group. The group meets twice a year via MS Teams.

Specialized Nutritional Counselling Special Interest Group

The Specialized Nutritional Counselling Special Interest Group (SNC-SIG) is a community of practice for Registered Dietitians (RD) and those providing specialized nutritional counselling in provincially-funded, specialized eating disorders programs across Ontario. The SNC-SIG fosters a collaborative approach to address the learning needs of dietitians and support the uptake of best practices as it applies to the RD role and scope of practice. The SIG welcomes RDs and those working with RDs in all levels of specialized care and with any age group. The group meets monthly via MS Teams.
