This section is for regulated health care professionals wishing to become more proficient in the treatment of eating disorders and who work in specialized, treatment programs in Ontario. It assumes a basic understanding of eating disorders and eating disorders treatment. It also assumes that practitioners in specialized programs, if not providing a three-pronged approach to care within their programs (i.e., mental health/psychotherapeutic care, medical treatment and support, and specialized nutritional counselling), have access to these services to support their clients’ needs.
Those providers new to eating disorders but who work in specialized eating disorders programs are welcome to participate in Introduction to Eating Disorders and Introduction to Treatment training at EDO.
