Event Description:
This group meets monthly to support the adherent uptake of Enhanced CBT, a first-line treatment for adults and older adolescents with eating disorders. The primary focus of this group is a discussion of cases and questions regarding application of CBT-E to one’s practice.
Staff in specialized eating disorders programs and in partnership agencies (those working with a specialized ED program in Ontario) and provide the services routinely offering CBT-ED or CBT-E to clients meet criteria to attend. Other eligibility criteria may apply. The prerequisite for individual clinicians attending this series is enrollment in or completion of CBT-E training, accessed either via EDO or directly through the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford (CREDO). For more information on CBT-E training offered by EDO, please see here. For EDO’s on-demand training on CBT-E for Adolescents, please visit here. For EDO’s on-demand training on CBT for Eating Disorders: Overview of the state of the evidence, please visit here. For more information about EDO’s other Mentoring series, please check out our Training Topics page.
Online registration is NOT available for this event.
If you work in a specialized eating disorders program and are interested in attending this group, please contact us. If you do not work in a specialized treatment program but are interested in attending, please connect first with the eating disorders program you are in partnership with before contacting EDO.
PLEASE NOTE: We kindly request that you do not forward any invites to your colleagues, but ask them to reach out to us directly.
