Event Description:
This group meets monthly to support the adherent uptake of FBT, a first-line treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders. The primary focus of this group is a discussion of cases and questions regarding the application of FBT to one’s practice.
Staff in specialized eating disorders programs or from partnership organizations working collaboratively with a specialized ED program in Ontario meet criteria to attend, provided the organization routinely offers FBT to its clients. Other eligibility criteria may apply. The prerequisite for individual clinicians attending this series is completion of “Intro to FBT” training, taken either via EDO through here or through the Training Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders. If you work in a specialized eating disorders program, this prerequisite may be waived.
