Event Description:
This group meets monthly to support mental health clinicians providing psychotherapeutic treatment to those with eating disorders. The primary focus of this group is a discussion of cases and questions regarding complex eating disorder treatments. No single treatment modality is discussed.
Staff in specialized eating disorders programs and in partnership agencies (those working in partnership with a specialized ED program in Ontario) meet criteria to attend. Other eligibility criteria may apply. There is no prerequisite for individual clinicians attending this series; however, experience with eating disorders in an advanced treatment capacity is recommended. Participation in the mentoring series for the primary psychotherapeutic treatment modality used in your program (e.g., FBT or CBT-ED/CBT-E) is also recommended.
