Training, Treatment, and Prevention

About Us

Eating Disorders Ontario (EDO) is a provincially-funded specialized training program that aims to improve and maintain high-quality service delivery through increased practitioner competence to treat and support those with eating disorders. EDO’s training is available to Ontario health and mental health practitioners working in publicly-funded, no-fee-for-service settings including public health, schools, primary care, community mental health and addictions and other community services, hospital care, and specialized eating disorders programs.

EDO, formerly known as the Ontario Community Outreach Program for Eating Disorders (OCOPED), provides professional training in evidence-based treatment and prevention of eating disorders.
